Serger Club at Glendale
The Glendale Serger Club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month unless otherwise specified.
Location: Glendale Store - 7838 N. 59th Ave.
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
$15 + cost of supplies
The Serger Club in Glendale meets on the second Wednesday of the month.
Each month we will have a small project and then have a question and answer session to help you with your projects.
We will be changing tensions, stitch length and width and use our differential feed! So be ready to have some fun and stretch your knowledge with your serger.
In our September class, we will be making drawstring jewelry bags. 
BRING TO CLASS:
- 2 different coordinating colors / patterns of fabric - enough to cut one 14" circle and one 10" circle from both fabrics for a total of four circles.
- 2 yards 1/8" satin cord or ribbon
- 2 cones serger thread to match fabric
- 1 cone white buttonhole twist or similar weight thread
- 1 3/4 yards pearl beading (optional)
- Beading foot (optional)
BEFORE CLASS:
- From both fabrics cut one 14" circle (you'll have two circles) for outside and inside of bag
- From both fabrics cut one 10" circle (you'll have two circles) for the lining and jewelry pockets
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR EVERY SERGER CLUB CLASS:
- A serger with all it's accessories and instruction book
- Foot Control
- Power Cord
- Four spools of serger thread, can be four different colors, in order to learn where each of your threads are going during our threading segment
- Four spools of serger thread that coordinates with the fabric your are using for the months project.
- Long Nose Tweezers
- Scissors
- Anything else needed for your project that we are doing together that month
- Glasses if you wear them
Class & Club Policies
Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
