Show Off Tote Bag with Diamond Art  Class in Tempe

This is a 2 day class. August 27 & TBD
10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Construction of the Show Off tote bag and Craft organizer.
This tote has a vinyl window to display diamond art pictures, cross stitch. hand and machine embroidery, photos of pets and family. paintings, applique and quilt blocks.



BEFORE CLASS PLEASE HAVE THE FOLLOWING COMPLETED

Please have all fabrics cut out labeled and fused according to directions.DO NOT FUSE ANY POCKET PIECES!

Please quilt the fused front. back and side walls of the exterior and interior tote PRIOR to class.

You will get more accomplished if this is done! I usually cross hatch 2 inches apart but anything is fine.

It would be helpful if straps were made prior to class as well. 


CLASS SUPPLIES:
 
Sewing machine in good working condition, foot control and power cord. An extension cord is helpful.

A regular sewing foot and a 1/4" seam guide foot

New machine needle. thread to match, rotary cutter, straight pins and/or clips

Fabric scissors, erasable black and white fabric marking pen or pencil

Fabrics. Fusible foam stabilizer, light weight fusible fleece, craftex, velcro and medium weight vinyl as listed on the pattern

3 magnetic snaps, Heat N Bond and Applique letters (cut out not purchased) Letters should not be taller than 2 1/2" and name must fit in a 11 1/2"width space. There are free templates on my web site. www.southwestdenim.com

2-1" flat colored buttons for flower center and 2- 1/4" black buttons

Class and Club Policy

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.

Please refrain from wearing scented sprays and lotions when attending classes and clubs.
