Got a jelly roll package of 2 1/2" strips that you don't know what to make with? OR, have scrappy 2 1/2" strips you'd like to make into something? This is a GREAT pattern to make your strips into a pretty and easy to put together quilt. Join me for the day and learn the tips for making these blocks. I will get you started and organized and after sewing for the day, you will be ready to finish up your quilt at home.
Pre-Class Preparation Required:
- Decide which size quilt and gather the fabrics you want to use.
- Precut background pieces before class according to the size you are going to make. [OR have at least enough cut before class that you can sew a dozen or so blocks in class.]
- We will cut the jelly roll
- Purchase Pattern: Tangled by Cluck Cluck Sew
- Bring a Rotary cutter,
- small mat
- ruler
- Sewing machine
- Power Cord
- Foot Control
- neutral thread
- pre wound bobbin
- 1/4" foot for your machine
- Basic sewing supplies
- scissors
- seam ripper
- pins
- pencil for notes, etc.
Water is provided. Bring a snack or lunch if desired.
Class and Club Policies
Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
