Embroidery friends with Scan n Cut - In Glendale

Join your embroidery friends every month and learn to make embroidered applique, using the Brother Scan n Cut for perfectly cut applique pieces. Each month we will be showcasing various embroidery designers and projects.

Our March session will include the Prickly Blooms wall hanging by Fabric Confetti. We will complete 1 block during this class.

Fabrics needed:

QTY 3 Backround Squares – Starched and cut to 13X14

QTY 3 Cactus fabrics - Starched and cut to 8X12 each

QTY 1 Color for the pots – Starched and cut to 8X12

Sashing Fabric – 10 strips 1 ½ X 15

Backing fabric

Batting or Fusible fleece
And
Heat n Bond Lite or Steam a Seam lite

Supplies to bring:

Small Rotary Cutting mat and Ruler to use with rotary cutting

Embroidery machine and Embroidery foot with Bobbins.

6X10 hoop required, larger is also fine

Sticky backed Tear away stabilizer to fit hoop (2 layers)

A variety of embroidery thread colors in green, yellow, red, fuchsia

Scissors, seam ripper, pins, and basic sewing supplies.

Pencil & Pad of paper for notes.
