We will discuss in class how to adjust a pattern if your panel is slightly bigger or smaller than the pattern size.

On Day 1, we will be making the leaf blocks and getting our panel ready.

On Day 2, we will be assembling the rest of the pieces.

There will be additional cutting needed for the day. BUT, we will be discussing in class what will be needed and making any changes that might be needed for your panel quilt top.

Pre-Class Preparation:

Precut your pieces for leaf blocks:

Leaf Fabric cut: 7 – 3” squares and 12 – 2 ½” squares (3 per leaf)
Brown fabric cut: 5 – 2 ½” squares
Light Fabric cut: 6 – 3” squares, 4 – 2 ½” squares, and 4 – 2 ¼” squares
Medium Fabric cut: 5 – 3” squares, and 6 – 2 1/4" squares
Accent Fabric cut: 4 – 3” squares and 6 - 2 ½” squares.

Also cut these strips from WOF (width of Fabric)

Dark Fabric: 4 strips – 2 ½” wide
Medium Fabric: 1 strip – 2 ½” wide
Light Fabric: 1 strip – 2 ½” wide
OPTIONAL:
- Light Fabric : 4 strips – 2 ½’ wide
- Medium Fabric: 1 strip – 6 ½’ wide

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR PROJECT:

Pattern	“Drifting Down” by Bound to be Quilting - SKU: BTBQ373
Fabric:	Fabric Panel of your choice - approx. 2/3 yard / 24 inches wide Look at the fabrics that are listed in the pattern and choose your own fabrics that would coordinate with your panel -- Be sure to label your fabrics and fabric cuts so they match up with pattern instructions. Some of the fabrics, I left the color that is mentioned on the pattern for identification purposes). 3/4 yard Dark fabric (Teal) includes fabric for binding. 1/2 yard Medium fabric(Teal) 1/2 yard Light fabric (Teal) 5/8 yard for border and inner accent (Teal Twigs) 3/8 yard accent fabric (orange twigs) 1/4 yard fabric for leaves 1/8 yard of a dark or medium Brown (you'll want brown for the leaf stems) 3 yards backing fabric (not required for the class - we will only have time to put together the quilt top)
Thread(s):	Basic neutral piecing thread (cotton or polyester)
Notions:	Basic Sewing Notions: Straight Pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc. Post-it notes for labeling your fabric Tape measure Rotary cutter with sharp blade Small cutting mat Cutting ruler (small)

Feel free to bring lunch, snacks and water.

Class & Club Policies

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
