Join your embroidery friends as we make Janine Babich’s ‘Tis the Season table top display with Embroidery and the Brother ScanNCut. In this class we will be cutting out applique pieces on the Brother ScanNCut and creating 3 in the hoop embroidered applique projects for the tri-stand display. There is no sewing with this project.
* A Brother ScanNCut machine is NOT required to participate in this class. If you have one at home, you may precut your applique pieces if you are comfortable doing so. Otherwise, the teacher will be available to teach you how to do this in class.

PRE-CLASS PREPARATION:
- Fuse HeatNBond Lite to your applique fabrics
- Copy appropriate files to a USB stick for your embroidery machine (PES - Brother)
CUT:
- Three 5" x 9" pieces background fabric
- Three 4 1/8" x 7 1/2" pieces of batting or fusible fleece
- Six 5" x 5" squares of backing fabric
- Four 6" x 6" applique fabrics fused with HeatnBond Lite
PROJECT SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:
- Pattern - Janine Babich "Tis the Season" Table Top Display - SKU# JBDTIS
- 1/3 yard fabric for background and backing
- An assortment of fabrics 6" x 6" or larger for the appliqued gingerbread man, candy can and Santa
- 1/4 yard or three 5" x 8" scraps fusible fleece
- Mesh stabilizer such as Floriani Power mesh - SKU FPMNU1510
- Embroidery threads in a variety of Christmas colors (reds, whites, blacks, greens, brown, pink, silver/gray)
- Hem tape (Steam-a-Seam or HeatnBond tape -1/4 or 1/2 inch)
- 12" coordinating ribbon
- 4" x 9" table top tri-stand - SKU# 87297 OR 12" split botton scroll hanger - SKU 32512
- Basic sewing/embroidery notions -- straight pins, wonder clips, fabric marking pens/pencils, machine screwdriver, seam ripper, rotary cutter with sharp blade, scissor, tweezers, paper and pen/pencil to take notes

Class & Club Policies
Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
