Join us in Glendale as we make the Zip it up bag from Pickle Pie designs and enjoy a potluck lunch.

This class will go over the following concepts:

• Cutting “raw” fabric on a scanNCut
• How to work with Vinyl and mesh in an embroidery project
• Installing a zipper in the hoop.

If you prefer to precut your fabrics, see page 5 of the pattern directions. A ScanNCut is not necessary for this class.

This project finishes in the hoop and does not require any additional sewing.

This design comes in 4 sizes and can be stitched in any hoop size from 5" x 7" to 9" x 14".

Print this list and bring it and proof of your class registration to any Mulqueen location and get 25% OFF ANY NOTIONS ON THIS LIST AND $1 OFF FABRIC PER YARD (Minimum cut 1/4 yard -- does not include precut fabric). 

These discounts expire at the end of this class.

• Copy embroidery files onto a USB drive or your machine.
• Follow the cutting directions on page 5 of the directions if you are precutting your fabrics.
• Fabric piece “F” is optional, but recommended.
• Bring a Potluck dish for 3-5 people to share

PROJECT SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:

  • Clear Vinyl

• Basic Sewing Notions – Straight pins, wonder clips, fabric marking pens/pencils, machine screwdriver, tweezers, seam ripper, scissor, rotary cutter w/ sharp blade, pen/pencil to take notes, etc., eye glasses if you need them.

• The instructor will be making soup for our potluck. Please bring a  favorite dish to share (3-5 people).  Plates, bowls, utensils, napkins will be provided.

MACHINE(S) AND SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:

• Embroidery Machine with power cord and foot control
• Embroidery Foot
• Embroidery hoop(s) - 6" x 10" or 7" x 12"
• ScanNCut Fabric Mat for cutting bag materials
• Wound bobbins  - black and white
• Machine needles - Microtex 80/12 or 90/14

Class & Club Policies 

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
