Do you need time to finish some Christmas gifts? Need to escape the business of home to get sewing time? Doing embroidery, sewing, cutting, binding, finishing? Use this time to dedicate to your projects. Teacher available for questions and encouragement if needed.

This WILL NOT be the normal instructional binding class (that will be scheduled in early January 2025).

There are several ways of finishing edges of quilts.  We will be helping each other either bind your project, turn up edges, or finish those raw edges.

Print this list and bring it and proof of your class registration to any Mulqueen location and get 25% OFF ANY NOTIONS ON THIS LIST AND $1 OFF FABRIC PER YARD (Minimum cut 1/4 yard -- does not include precut fabric). 

These discounts expires at the end of this class.

• Have your project ready for finishing.
• Bring your fabric for making binding, or bring your extra fabrics if you are uncertain.   We can decide together.

• Suggested book:  Ultimate Binding & Edge-Finishing Guide by Deonn Stott
• Your project and what is needed for binding or finishing
• Thread - matching or a neutral color

• Sewing machine with power cord and foot control
• 1/4 inch piecing foot w/ or w/out guide*
• Edge joining foot or stitch in the ditch foot*
• Wound bobbins
• Long cutting ruler for cutting strips
• Basic sewing notions: Straight pins, clips, fabric marking pens/pencils, machine screwdriver, tweezers, seam ripper, scissor, rotary cutter w/ sharp blade, pen/pencil to take notes, etc., eye glasses if you need them

Class & Club Policies 

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
