Join us in Glendale for a hands-on class learning how to use the Brother CanvasWorkspace software for the Brother ScanNCut.
In this informative and hands-on class, we will be going through all of the functions in the following menus:
- Properties
- Edit
- Layers
- Artboard.
- shapes, fonts, image tracing and SVG’s.
- several ways to import, export, save and transfer files between USB, computer and the cutting machine.
Brother CanvasWorkspace software is a free download from the Brother website. It is used to work with the Brother ScanNCut cutting machines.
A ScanNCut machine is not required for this class. If you don't own one yet and you are wondering if you would enjoy having one, this is the class to take. Bring your laptop with the free software installed and registered and you can participate along with us for the majority of the class.
BRING TO CLASS:
- Laptop computer with power cord and mouse
- Have the latest version of Brother Canvas Workspace installed on your laptop and assign your user ID and password.
- USB Flash Drive
- Lunch or snacks and water to drink
- Eye glasses if you need them
- Pen/pencil and paper to take notes
PRE-CLASS PREPARATION
- Be sure to open and log into Brother CanvasWorkspace less than 7 days before this class. There are occasionally iternet issues beyond our control.
- Sorry - no tag alongs for this class. All participants must register.
If you need help obtaining a User ID or password, please arrive by 10:00 a.m. so we can complete this before class.

Class & Club Policies
Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
