Join your friends in Glendale as we practice our ScanNCut skills and make the Coffee Break Embroidery pattern by Fabric Confetti. 

In this class we will be using the Brother ScanNCut to cut out our applique pieces for the Coffee Break pattern by Fabric Confetti.

The pattern includes 8 designs.  We should be able to get at least 6 of the designs stitched out during the full class session. Feel free to arrive at 10AM if you want to get a head start.

Minimum hoop requirement is 6" X 10" without background quilting.  7" X 12" or larger hoop required to stitch the background quilting.

• Put Embroidery files and SVG files on a USB

• Cut (8) 8" X 12" rectangles from background fabric

• Cut (8) 8" x 8" squares backing fabric

• Cut (8) 8" x 12" rectangles backing fabric

• Pattern:  Fabric Confetti – Coffee Break – SKU: FC-CB

• ¾ yd main fabric for backgrounds and backing fabrics

• 1 yard of HeatNBond Lite or Lite Steam-A-Seam 2

• (8 - 12) 5" x 5"  squares of a variety of scraps for applique.

• Polymesh Cut Away stabilizer such as OESD PolyMesh CutAway – SKU:HBC15

• (8) 8" x 12" pieces of fusible fleece such as Pellon 986F

• Embroidery threads for background quilting

• Coordinating embroidery threads for the coffee appliques and sayings - many colors

• Iron on hem tape or 1/4 x 7" of Steam-A-Seam 2 Double Stick Fusible Web, HeatNBond

• KimberBell paper tape - SKU: KDTL100

• A roll of wide ribbon if you want to make these into a wall hanging (optional)

• Embroidery machine with power cord and foot control

• Embroidery foot

• Embroidery hoop 5" x 7" or larger

• ScanNCut Low Tack Mat

• Wound bobbins with black or while embroidery bobbin thread

• Needles - Microtex Embroidery Needles size 75/11 or 80/12

• Rotary cutter with a sharp blade

• Cutting mat 8" x 10" or larger

• Rotary cutting ruler

Class & Club Policies 

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.  Please refrain from using perfumes or scented lotions for the health and safety of our staff and customers.  Thank you.
