Sprinkle cheer throughout the year with Holiday Rope Bowls! Kimberbell's delightful collection includes seven designs in a fresh oval shape. Make the Shape Form base on your embroidery machine, coil Project Rope with your sewing machine, and add beads, tassels and other festive embellishments! With Holiday Rope Bowls, it's easy to create heartfelt gifts and decor for a variety of occasions!

Embroidery/Sewing Machines will be provided for you to use and enjoy!

Each participant needs to purchase the Kimberbell KD5145 Holiday Rope Bowl Design Pack

I'm sure you will be delighted to hear that the embroidery machine, embroidery arm and embroidery foot will all be provided for you to use during class. No lugging of heavy machines!!! But, you will need a few things:

This collection comes with seven (7) designs in two (2) sizes that will fit the 5x7 and 8x12 hoops. We will be concentrating on the 5x7 size. We will try to get them all finished in class.

You do need to bring:

Cutaway stabilizer for each hooping - available at Mulqueen's Sewing Center

Kimberbell rope - available at Mulqueen's Sewing Center

Shape Form interfacing - guess where you can get this!!! It is a Kimberbell product. You need two pieces for each bowl - 4 1/2" x 7 1/2" - this does not have to be cut before class. Just make certain you have enough to complete the projects.

Base front - this is the background fabric that your embroidery will be stitched on. For each bowl you need a fabric piece that is 5" x 8" Again, this does not have to be cut prior to class, just make certain you have enough fabric for the projects. You will also need fusible interfacing like SF101 for each base front.

Base back - the back is completed envelope style so two pieces of fabric 6"x 8" is required for each bowl. This can be the same as your front fabric or a different fabric - your choice.

Threads:

Black, gray, white, dark pink, light pink, peach, brown, orange, gold, dark yellow, light yellow, cream, dark green, light green, aqua, blue, and last but not least lavender You should also bring a couple of pre-wound embroidery bobbins.

Other things you will need:

Strong cutting scissors, small embroidery scissors, a smile and a bit of patience!!!!

Some sewing is required to actually make the bowl so you need a good quality sewing thread and empty bobbin - you want the back to look as good as the front. We will convert the machines to sewing machines very easily and very quickly.

Almost forgot. You need to do something about lunch. There are several fast food places very close or you can bring your lunch and/or snacks.

Class & Club Policies 

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
