Have you ever wondered how AccuQuilt dies work and how to sew with them? Would you like to test drive AccuQuilt dies? This Christmas in July class just might be the class for you! Come and experience cutting and sewing using the AccuQuilt Cutting System.
Your class fee includes instructions, a Pre-Cut Kit for one placemat, the use of AccuQuilt dies and cutters, along with a few embroidery machines for adding optional decorative stitches to your placemat. Or, you can also use decorative stitches on your standard sewing machine.
For registering and attending this class, you are offered a 25% discount off your spool of thread to be used for this class project. Additionally, you will get 25% off AccuQuilt dies, mats, books and other AccuQuilt notions you purchase in store the day of class.
Please show a copy of your class registration and supply list at the register to get your discount.
This discount expires at the end of the class day.
PRE-CLASS PREPARATION:
Email the instructor at BornBlessed2@icloud.net to let her know three things:
- Do you have any machine embroidery experience?
- Do you have any experience using the AccuQuilt Fabric Cutting System?
- Do you have a combination sewing/embroidery machine you can bring with you for piecing and embroidering your decorative stitches on your placement?
NONE of these are required to take the class, but it allows the instructor to better prepare for your class experience.
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR PROJECT:
- Thread - Light colored neutral thread
- Basic sewing notions: straight pins, wonder clips, fabric marking pens/pencils, machine screwdriver, seam ripper, scissors, pen/pencil and paper to take notes, etc.
- Eye glasses if you need them
MACHINE SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS WITH YOUR MACHINE:
- Your Sewing Machine with power cord and foot control
- 1/4-inch piecing foot w/ or w/out guide
- Wound bobbins with your thread or bring empty bobbins to wind with the thread you purchase
- Embroidery machine or combination sewing/embroidery machine with power cord and foot control
- Your embroidery foot
OTHER SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Remember to email the instructor if you have any experience with embroidery machines and/or AccuQuilt, and if you are able to bring a combination sewing/embroidery machine.
- Please bring your lunch and/or snacks for yourself.

Class and Club Policies:
Class and/or Club fees are to be paid at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the class supply list completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently. Please refrain from using perfumes or scented lotions for the health and safety of our staff and customers.
