If you want to learn how to foundation paper piece, the Scrappy Mountains foundation pad is a great place to start! If you are serious about putting a dent in your scrap bins or your stash, this is the class for you!

Bust through your scraps with foundation paper-pieced 3” x 6” Scrappy Mountains (finished size). This foundation pad makes it easy to choose a foundation and start sewing. No fussing with printers! The foundations are pre-printed on lightweight paper making them easy to see through and remove. Play with the finished blocks to build your own mountain ranges. You'll discover that there are endless designs you can make. You can use the blocks in wall hangings, bags, quilts and more! The Scrappy Mountains foundation pad measures 7" x 8" and contains: - 50 different Scrappy Mountain designs. Each design is repeated twice for a total of 100 foundations.  

This will be a skill building and technique session.  We will take time to set up your work area.  You can expect to complete a few blocks on the first day, so be ready to turn on you "out of the box" thinking.  The second day will be for continued work on the Scrappy Mountains or if you have a foundation paper-piecing project haunting you (like I do) you can bring it and delve in.

Bring proof of your class registration to any Mulqueen location and get 25% OFF ANY NOTIONS ON THIS LIST.  Plus, you will get $1 off per yard (1/4 yard minimum cut) of fabric you need for this project.

• Scrappy Mountains Foundation Paper-piecing Pad LGD112
  
• Approximately 2 yards of scraps - Bring more scraps than you think you will need and come prepared to share!  This will add to the fun of our time together!
• 1 1/4 yards of background fabric 
• Rotary Cutter
• 1 or more Rulers - I use a 6 1/2" x 12 1/2" and a 4" x 8"
• Flat Head Pins
• Optional Notion - Add a Quarter Ruler
• Something to label the numbers of you fabrics
• Basic Sewing Supplies - scissors, seam ripper, pin cushion, etc.

Please refrain from wearing scented sprays, lotions or essential oils when attending classes and clubs for the health and safety of the staff and customers. 

Class & Club Policies 

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
