Got an AccuQuilt GO! Qube that you haven't opened or used? Then this group is for you! Come and explore what is included in the Qubes and how to cut fabric using them. Then we will explore how to sew blocks together using the pieces you cut from your Qube.
Bring your own Qube (any size will do) and a collection of fabrics to play with. AccuQuilt GO! Qube Mix & Match book is what we will use to begin our exploration of Qubes and the blocks they can make. If you are joining the class in November 2025 or later - please email the instructor, Ellen Born at bornblessed2@icloud.com so she can give you additional information.
* Please note that the classes in November and December 2025 will be on the THIRD Friday of the month.
We will have AccuQuilt GO! cutters available.
We will not be making a specific quilt, but making blocks that might be made into a sampler type quilt. This group may continue meeting depending on what the group wants to do.
Class attendees are offered a 25% discount off notions and $1 off per yard of fabrics (min. 1/4 cut) required and used for this class project. Pre-cut fabrics are not included. Please show a copy of your class registration AND supply list at the register to get your discount. This discount expires at the end of class.
PRE-CLASS PREPARATION:
- Buy your book (Go! Qube Mix & Match Block System by AccuQuilt SKU 55984
- Gather or purchase your fabrics according to your cube size:
- 4" cube info on page 21
- 9" cube info on page 51
- 12" cube info on page 57
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT:
- Book - GO! QUBE Mix & Match Block System by AccuQuilt - SKU 55984
- Fabric - You may make your sampler scrappy with a consistent background, or totally scrappy! OR you may buy a collection of fabrics and a background. NOTE: Each block uses 2 - 4 colors and a background.
- Thread - I suggest Aurifil neutral beige or gray color.
- AccuQuilt Qube of any size and the appropriate size mat for your Qube.
- OPTIONAL - highlighter, post-it notes and a project box suggested for this longer term project.
MACHINE SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:
- Sewing machine with power cord and foot control
- 1/4 inch piecing foot
- Standard foot
- Wound bobbins
- Basic sewing notions such as straight pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc.
- Eye glasses if you need them.

Class & Club Policies
Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
