Embroidery Club November 2025 - Technique Wall Hanging

All brands of machines are welcome!

We will begin our journey to begin to make a technique wall hanging.

In the next 3 months you will learn to select our colors, how to embroider cutwork, in the hoop appliqué and how to organize a design project. You will learn how to assemble a wall hanging and if you have the Binding Tool from Husqvarna Viking we will be applying our binding with that tool. If you don’t have that tool, we will us other methods.

For the first class you will need:
Your embroidery machine
Power cord
At least a 240 X 150 hoop
Tear away stabilizer
1.5 yards of white background color for making the squares
2 yards of fabric for the binding, sashing and backing.
Coordinating embroidery thread using your favorite colors
Coordinating sewing thread for assembling the wall hanging on the last class.
Bring your rotary cutter, sewing scissors, and your usual class supplies including your 5” x 24 rotary cutting ruler.
New needle installed. I like using an 80/12 Topstitch needle for my embroidery projects
