Adult Beginner Sewing Class

This class will be held in the Clubhouse!
In this course you will learn all the basics of the timeless craft of sewing in our beginner-friendly classroom. By the end of the series, you will have confidence in using a sewing machine independently and will have gained a wealth of knowledge including the following: proper sewing techniques (pinning, cutting, etc.) the basics of bag making, working with zippers, reading and using patterns, the basics of garment construction, working with various fabric types, and more!
There will be two other classes announced soon! Our first class will be the "It's a Cinch Drawstring Bag"!!
Supply list:
Main Fabric (1) fat quarter or 3/8 yard (quilting cotton)
Lining fabric (1) fat quarter or 3/8 yard (quilting cotton)
Drawstring 1 ½ yard of ½ in ribbon
(1) Spool of coordinating thread
Fabric scissors
Small scissors for clipping threads
Pins
Fabric marking tool
Point turner
Seam gauge
Large safety pin
Your sewing machine (in good working order), foot control, power cord
