Make this easy Christmas Tree wall hanging - called Giving Tree - for yourself or as a gift! While the curves may look scary, they are made easy by the Mini Quick Curve Ruler (QCR) and with guidance through each step you will have a top completed much faster than you think possible! Get a head start on Christmas and join this class now.
Precut your fabrics. We will cut the curves in class with the Mini CRC Ruler.
A rotating or small mat makes this easier.
PRE-CLASS PREPARATION:
- Purchase book and fabrics needed
- Precut your fabrics and label. Print this LABEL LIST, cut and attach to your fabrics. Zip lock bags are a big help to separate your pieces.
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT:
Class attendees are offered a 25% discount off notions and $1 off per yard of fabrics (min. 1/4 cut) required and used for this class project. Pre-cut fabrics are not included. Please show a copy of your class registration AND supply list at the register to get your discount. This discount expires at the end of class.
- Book - Mini Wonderful Curves by Jenny Pedigo and Helen Robinson - SKU: 52295
- Mini Quick Curve Ruler (QCR) - SKU QCRMINI
- 4 Fat Quarters of assorted greens
- 2 - 5/12" Squares of gold fabric for the star
- 1 - 5" square of brown fabric for the trunk
- 1 yard background fabric
- 1/3 yard bind fabric (needed for finishing)
- Neutral thread
- Rotary cutter with sharp blades - 45mm suggested
- Rotating or small cutting mat
- Basic Sewing and Embroidery notions - Straight Pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc.
- Eye glasses if you need them
NOTE -- IF you have a flannel backed tablecloth, a piece of flannel fabric or batting that you can use as a portable design wall, you may find it helpful to use at the end of the day.
MACHINE SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:
- Sewing machine in good working order with foot control and power cord OR
- Combo sewing and embroidery machine in good working order with foot control and power cord
- 1/4" piecing foot
- Wound bobbins

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class.
