Join us at the Glendale Store to make a super cute Christmas Wall Hanging.

We will be making Janine Babich's "We Wish You..." Wall Hanging.

This class will have machine embroidery and straight stitch sewing.  If you do not have a combo sewing and embroidery machine, please reach out to the instructor directly to see if you can borrow a straight stitch sewing machine for this class.

PRE-CLASS PREPARATION:

• Purchase your pattern
• Put the embroidery files on a USB drive or on your embroidery machine
• Cut your fabric pieces
  • 1 - 10" x 13" background fabric
  • 2 - 5/8" x 30" Fabric accents
  • 1 - 3 1/2" x 12 1/2" upper boarder
  • 1 - 4 1/2" x 12 1/2" lower border
• Plan to bring snacks and/or lunch for your comfort

• On day of class, PLEASE refrain from using perfumes or scented lotions for the health and safety of our staff and other customers. Thank you.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT:

Class attendees are offered a 25% discount off notions and $1 off per yard of fabrics (min. 1/4 cut) required and used for this class project.  Pre-cut fabrics are not included.  Please show a copy of your class registration AND supply list at the register to get your discount.  This discount expires at the end of class.

• Pattern - We Wish You... by Janine Babich - SKU - JBDWWY
• 1/3 yd linen / solid light colored cotton fabric for background embroidery
• 1/3 yd patterned fabric for the upper and lower borders
• 1 - 2" x 30" fabric strip for accent
• 1/2 yd coordinating fabric for backing
• OESD Ultra Clean and Tear White Stabilizer - SKU - HBT17-10 OR Floriani Power Mesh Stabilizer - SKU FPMNAF1210
• Embroidery threads in reds, greens, golds, etc. for Christmas Colors or coordinating colors of  your choice for your project
• Rotary cutter with sharp blade
• 12" ruler for rotary cutting
• Small mat would be helpful but is optional.
• Basic Sewing and Embroidery notions - Straight Pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc.
• Eye glasses if you need them

MACHINE SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:

• Combo Embroidery/Sewing machine in good working order with foot control and power cord OR
• Embroidery machine in good working order with foot control and power cord -- CONTACT INSTRUCTOR IF YOU NEED USE OF A SEWING MACHINE
• 8" x 12" Hoop or larger, magnetic or plastic
• Wound bobbins, white
• 75/11 Embroidery needles
• 1/4" piecing foot
• Embroidery foot

Class & Club Policies

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently. Please refrain from using perfumes or scented lotions for the health and safety of our staff and customers.
