Do you have quilts or other items that need finishing for the holidays? Are you having trouble with odd corners or angles on table runners or other items? You can bring those in and get some tips as well as having some set aside time for getting them finished for the holidays!
This is NOT a regular Binding Instructions class (Look for that in January!) This is an opportunity to work on those finishings and get a little guidance and support when you need it.
The Ultimate Binding & Edge-Finishing Guide by Deonn Stott MAY be helpful if you don't already have it.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU:
- Sewing machine in good working order with foot control and power cord OR
- 1/4" piecing foot
- Walking foot
- Wound bobbins
- Rotary cutter with sharp blades if you still need to cut your binding
- Medium sized cutting mat - we will have a couple mats here to use as well.
- Basic Sewing and Embroidery notions - Straight Pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc.
- Eye glasses if you need them
- Bring anything you need to finish the edges on your project or plan to purchase items you need in our store.

Class attendees are offered a 25% discount off notions and $1 off per yard of fabrics (min. 1/4 cut) required and used for this class project. Pre-cut fabrics are not included. Please show a copy of your class registration AND supply list at the register to get your discount. This discount expires at the end of class.

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently. Please refrain from using perfumes or scented lotions for the health and safety of our staff and customers.
