Join in a day of sewing, fun, and encouragement as we put together this fun-loving heart table runner!  Use a few fabrics, or a lot of different fabrics and make your heart design to fit your personality.  Learn basic sewing and cutting tips and hints to make this fast and easy.

Two layouts possible in this class – Beginner easy (only hearts) or slightly harder and make 2 different blocks in Heart Strings.

Choose from the simple Valentine’s Heart (sku:CCS#186) design if you are a beginning piecer.

If you have some experience, you may try the 2 block - Heart Strings design (sku: CCS#210).  But I suggest you precut your pieces.

This class has an optional class for finishing up the table runner scheduled for , doing some quilting with the walking foot and/or adding borders.

PRE-CLASS PREPARATION:

• Buy your pattern and gather your fabrics.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT:

Class attendees are offered a 25% discount off notions and $1 off per yard of fabrics (min. 1/4 cut) required and used for this class project.  Pre-cut fabrics are not included.  Please show a copy of your class registration AND supply list at the register to get your discount.  This discount expires at the end of class.

• Pattern - Modern Holiday Table Runners [CCS #186] OR Modern Holiday Table Runners Vol. 2  [CCS #210] By Cluck Cluck Sew
• Fabric as required for the pattern you are using.
• Neutral colored thread for piecing - I prefer to piece with Aurifil cotton thread. 
  
• short ruler for drawing lines
• Rotary cutter with sharp blade
• Cutting mat
• Rotary Cutting Ruler - suggest bringing a longer ruler as well as a square ruler (8" or 9")
  

• Folded Corner Ruler - SKU CGRFCC or similar
• Post-it notes and Wonder Clips really help with this project

MACHINE SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:

• Sewing machine in good working order with power cord and foot control
• 1/4 inch piecing foot
• Standard foot
• Wound bobbins
• Needles - Microtex sharp size 80/12
• Basic sewing notions such as straight pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc. 
• Eye glasses if you need them.

Class & Club Policies 

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted when paid in full. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class.  Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
