Struggling with finishing your quilts and table runners? Not happy with those corners? Or you just don’t know where to start? This class is a Basics on Binding those edges. Discussions on the many questions that arise, along with hands-on making binding and two ways to complete that is what this class is all about.
PRE-CLASS PREPARATION:
- Buy your book - Ultimate Binding & Edge-Finishing Guide By Deonn Stott (buy in-store to get class discount)
- *Get your fabric together - Two scraps or fat quarters that are approx. 18" x 22" will work great or two pieces that are approx. 9" x 20".
- *Layer your fabric pieces with batting to create your quilt sandwich - backing layer face down, batting, then your top piece face up.
- *You can baste these together with either temporary adhesive spray or basting/safety pins.
- *Do some simple quilting of your quilt sandwich so it is ready for practicing placing binding on.
*THESE STEPS MUST BE DONE BEFORE CLASS.
