Join us in Glendale for our 3rd class in the ScanNCut University series, Creating perfect quilting points using the Brother ScanNCut. Did you know the ScanNCut can cut all of your quilting blocks and mark a perfect ¼” seam allowance?
This is the perfect class for all levels of quilt piecing and all levels of Brother ScanNCut Users. Don’t have a ScanNCut machine? No worries. Come see how this machine will level up your piecing and help you make the most perfect points. We will be cutting and piecing 1 Friendship star quilt block during this class.
A basic sewing machine will be setup for participants to use during this class.
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT:
Class attendees are offered a 25% discount off notions and $1 off per yard of fabrics (min. 1/4 cut) required and used for this class project. Pre-cut fabrics are not included unless they are required for this class project. Please show a copy of your class registration AND supply list at the register to get your discount. This discount expires at the end of class.
- 4 coordinating fat quarters (light, dark, medium and a background color to make a friendship star)
- Fabric starch or equivalent (Mary Ellen's Best Press, Acorn Easy Press or Terial Magic are all fine)
- Neutral thread for piecing
- Would bobbin
- Brother Air and Water Erase pens for ScanNCut. These come standard with the ScanNCut Model SDX325 or you can purchase them - SKU: CAPEN2
- 12" x 12" ScanNCut Fabric Cutting Mat - SKU: CADXMATF12 (or appropriate SKU for the model of your ScanNCut machine)
- Brother ScanNCut Brayer - SKU CABRY1
MACHINE SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:
- Brother ScanNCut Machine with power cord (if you have one)
- ScanNCut Fabric Mat
- Rotary Cutter with a sharp blade
- Small cutting mat - 8" x 10" or a little larger
- Basic sewing notions such as straight pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc.
- Eye glasses if you need them.
- OPTIONAL - a mini iron with small wool pressing mat for your work station
Bring your lunch and/or snacks for your comfort

Class & Club Policies
Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted when paid in full. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
