Join us in Glendale for a fun class as we learn how to use the Brother Canvas Workspace software to work with Heat Press vinyl.  We will manipulate JPG and SVG Files and cut something out with vinyl.

Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class.  Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.

PRE-CLASS PREPARATION:

• Make sure your Brother ScanNCut machine AND your Brother Canvas Workspace software is registered with Brother BEFORE you come to this class.  If you need help, please email the instructor.
• Make sure you have logged into the Brother Canvas Workspace software and the Embrilliance software within 7 days before the class in case we are unable to use the internet.
• If you need help selecting vinyl, please arrive at 10:00 a.m. so the instructor can help you select from what is available in the store.    

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS PROJECT:

Class attendees are offered a 25% discount off notions (sorry no discount on software) and $1 off per yard of fabrics (min. 1/4 cut) required and used for this class project.  Pre-cut fabrics are not included unless they are required for this class project.  Please show a copy of your class registration AND supply list at the register to get your discount.  This discount expires at the end of class.

• Brother ScanNCut DX Standard Tack Mat (a Brother DX light tack mat is optional, but it may work better for certain types of vinyl)
• Brother Vinyl Auto Blade
• Paper Tape (may be necessary)
• 12" x 12" square of Pressure Sensitive Vinyl (PSV, permanent or outdoor vinyl - you can also use a removable vinyl if you want to be able to remove your label in the future)
• Two 12" x 12" squares of Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) in coordinating colors
• A T-shirt if you would like to heat press your t-shirt design (Hint, we will be making a Mulqueen T-Shirt!)
• Any item you want to add a sticker to - cup, spice jar, storage container, etc.       

MACHINE SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS:

• Brother ScanNCut DX machine with power cord and manual*
• Laptop computer with power cord and bluetooth or corded mouse
• Scissor for cutting your vinyl and tape
• Brother ScanNCut DX Standard Tack Mat*
• Brother ScanNCut DX Low Tack Mat*
• Brother ScanNCut DX Scanning Mat*
• Pens/Pencils, and Paper to take notes, etc. 
• Eye glasses if you need them.

 * If your Brother ScanNCut machine is NOT a DX model, please make sure you have or purchase mats that are compatible with your machine.

Class & Club Policies 

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted when paid in full. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given.
