What is a BOB die? An Accuquilt die that has ALL the pieces on one die for making a quilt block. This class is part one of three individual upcoming classes that will work with Accuquilt BOB dies to explore just how they work. Take one or all three classes!
In the Crossed Canoes class we will make 4 blocks into a wall hanging or table mat. Finished size is about 22” x 22” [OR set them in a row for a table runner.] Find out how fun it is to cut out ALL your pieces at one time and see how easily they go together.
The Crossed Canoes die not necessary (but helpful), nor do you need experience with the Accuquilt cutters.
Come join the fun and see what it is all about!
Classroom will be set up with cutters. Instructor will have pattern, but it is available on the Accuquilt site for no cost.
Instructors Crossed Canoe Die will be available to share. But you will need your own 10´x 10” Accuquilt mat.
Pre-Class Preparation:
- Purchase your fabrics and get your sewing things ready to go!

Background – ¾ yd
2 fabric colors – 3/8 yd each color
Border and Binding fabric – ½ yd.

- Prewind a bobbin.
Machine Supplies to be bring to class:
- Sewing Machine with Power Cord and Foot Control
- 1/4 Inch Foot
- Wound Bobbins
Basic Sewing / Embroidery Notions to bring to class:
- Straight Pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper,
Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc.
Water available.
Bring a lunch or snack if desired.
