Embroidery Club May 2026 - Stand Alone Design

This month, we will be learning how to create a “standalone” design using any design. This method is a great way to be able to embroider a design of your choosing and be able to apply it to any surface. Backpacks, sleeves, and pant legs are just a few examples of difficult areas for embroidery. Perfect placement is guaranteed!

Supply List:
Your embroidery machine and embroidery arm
Power cord
Medium hoop is best for this class
Choose a design from your machine or download a favorite design (to fit your medium hoop)
Sticky back wash-away stabilizer to fit your hoop
Heat Craft tool (these are available at Mulqueen Sewing Center and can be found where the stabilizers are kept.)
Fresh bobbin and needle
Embroidery thread to match your chosen design
Your regular class supplies
Special fabric to create this with will be provided
