Accuquilt BOB dies (Part Two) Starry Path

In the Starry Path class, we will make several blocks that will show how wonderful this BOB die is for cutting out quilt blocks with difficult angles. But we will also discover the tricks to sewing These different angles together! Students can make 3 or 4 blocks to turn into a long table runner or design your own project. You might decide you enjoy it so much that you purchase the die and create your own quilt! Find out how fun it is to cut out ALL your pieces at one time and see how easily they go together. The Starry Path DIE not necessary (but helpful), nor do you need experience with the accuquilt cutters. Come join the fun and see what it is all about!

Classroom will be set up with cutters.
Instructor will provide directions, but various patterns are available on the Accuquilt site for no cost.
Instructor will have Starry Path Die will be available to share. Bring yours if you have one.

Pre-Class Preparation:

Purchase your fabrics and get your sewing things ready to go!
But you will need your own 6 x 12” or 6” x 24” Accuquilt mat.
We will be cutting some wide 7.5” and 10.25” strips – please bring an appropriate ruler and cutter.

Fabric needed:
Background – 1 to 1 ½ yd
2 or 4 fabric colors – 7 ½” wide strip (WOF)

Pre wind a bobbin.

Sewing Machine with Power Cord and Foot Control
1/4 Inch Foot
Wound Bobbins

Basic Sewing / Embroidery Notions to bring to class:
Straight Pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc.

Rotary Cutting Tools to bring to class:

Rotary Cutter with sharp blade
Cutting Mat
Ruler: Large enough to cut 7” and 10” strips!



1. Discount Supply List – Class attendees will be given a list of supplies they can purchase at any Mulqueen location. It offers 25% off class notions and $1 off price per yard for fabrics needed for the class. Students are required to show the supply list and a copy of their class registration to receive the discounts.
2. Bring lunch, snacks and water.

Class & Club Policies

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently. Please refrain from using perfumes or scented lotions for the health and safety of our staff and customers.
