It’s heating up outside, but we are staying cool inside and finishing our Fabric Confetti Merry Mugs pattern.
For part 2, we will be sewing our blocks and sashing together and finishing our projects. Do you struggle with binding? No worries, the teacher is here to help you. We have 2 ways of installing binding for this project. We will give a demo of each method for those who need it.

Design Options: Mug Rugs, Mini Quilt, large wall hanging, table runner or small wall hanging.

If you have not finished embroidering your blocks, you can bring your embroidery machine to work on those. All others, please bring your sewing machine.

Print this list and bring it and proof of your class registration to any Mulqueen location and get 25% OFF ANY NOTIONS ON THIS LIST AND $1 OFF FABRIC PER YARD (Minimum cut 1/4 yard -- does not include precut fabric).  These discounts expire at the end of this class.

Supplies needed for Project:

Pattern / Book w/ SKU: Fabric Confetti - Very Merry Mugs ITH Wall Hanging – SKU: FC-VMM

Fabric and Batting:

1 yard of background fabric: sub-cut into sixteen, 7 1/2" x 7 1/2” squares
1 1/4 yard of Fusible Fleece; sub-cut into sixteen, 7 1/2" x 7 1/2” squares The extra Fusible Fleece will be used to back borders.
½ yard for sashing
¼ yard for binding
31” square for backing and quilt batting (Wait to cut this till our projects are finished).
a handful of 5X5 applique fabrics for the mugs
1YD Heat N Bond Lite

Sewing threads that match your binding and sashing fabrics.

Basting Glue – SKU: RXGL2

Machine Supplies to be bring to class:

Sewing machine with power cable, foot pedal and manual
¼ sewing foot.
2 bobbins
Needles: 80/12 Preferred
Rotary Cutter/Ruler/Small mat
Optional: Mini iron

Basic Sewing / Embroidery Notions to bring to class:

Straight Pins, Wonder Clips, Fabric Marking Pens/Pencils, Machine Screwdriver, Seam Ripper, Scissor, Pen/Pencil and Paper to take notes, etc.

Pre-Class Preparation:

Cut your sashing and binging fabrics per the pattern.
Bring your backing fabric, extra fusible fleece, and your quilt batting.

Bring lunch, snacks and water.

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee attendance to the teacher so she can
prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for
the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
