It's Christmas in July and it wouldn't be complete without a tree skirt! Gail Shannon designed this beautiful tree skirt that is so easy to make!  Secret: No matching seams in this project! Fun!!!! They are like potato chips; cannot have just one! You will do one for everyone!

Sewing machines will be available for you to use and enjoy!

PROJECT SUPPLIES TO BRING TO CLASS
Bring proof of your class registration to any Mulqueen location and get 25% OFF ANY NOTIONS ON THIS LIST.  Plus, you will get $1 off per yard (1/4 yard minimum cut) of fabric you need for this project.

• Gail's Pattern will be given to you in class!
• Fabric Requirements:
  • *Not suited for fabrics with a one-way directional design.

    · Main (focus) theme fabric 1 yard -Will carrying theme throughout

    · Coordinating fabric #1 1 yard -can be darkest color in your focus fabric or black.

    · Coordinating fabric #2 1 yard – can be a small print that coordinates with focus fabric

    · Accent Fabric ½ yard—usually light cream, gold or white

    · Center and outer row 1 yard (will be at top and bottom of skirt)

    · Binding 1 yard (will be cut on bias)

    · Backing 2 yards? REMEMBER: this needs to be about a 56-inch square….so either decide to piece it or buy wide fabric. Not necessary for the class so you can get later.

    · Batting 56- inch square

• Creative Grids Quilt Ruler 10 Degree Wedge #CGRCP1
• Long ruler for cutting; Approximately 6" x 24" for strip cutting.
• Coordinating thread (We recommend Aurifil)
• Rotary cutter with a sharp blade
• Rotary cutting ruler
• General sewing supplies:  fabric marking pencil or pen, pins, clips, seam ripper, etc.
• There may be additional supplies required

Class & Club Policies 

Class and/or Club fees are required at the time of registration. Reservations will only be accepted at time of full payment. If you need to cancel a class, we must be notified a minimum of five (5) days in advance of the class. At five days, we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she can prepare for the class. There will be no class refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we do not have the minimum number of students the teacher requires. If that happens, a full refund or credit will be given. Please read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to the class unless the supply list indicates differently.
