Vintage Ticking Cinnamon

Once the nostalgia of another summer has gone by, autumn arrives full of crispness and clarity. I slowly transcend into the season through subtle changes that I begin to see around me. The sight of pumpkins on neighborhood porches, the many shades of apples at the farmers market, and the beautifully colored leaves beneath my feet during my early morning walks. This season of romantic abundance is also one of gratitude, one of family, and one of gathering. My new collection Autumn Grace is a compilation of all the beauty I find in my favorite season of the year. The colors in this collection originate from many of natures gifts: foliage, acorns, apples, sprigs of bittersweet & rosehips, cider, squash, Cinderella pumpkins and lovely fall sunsets. As my boys return to school each year, I find solace in my studio. The quiet peace the season brings allows me to create uninterrupted. The wonderful things I see around me offer a daily palette of endless color. This year it inspired Autumn Grace. A romantic collection of florals in the most beautiful combination of colors. I can hardly wait to stitch with it. I envision making such lovely things for my home quilts, runners, tablecloths, pillows, and so much more! My hope is that it will inspire you as well.
