The KAI 6" Micro-Serrated Patchwork Scissors blades help grip the fabric on satin, silky and slippery fabrics. Excellent on cotton for cutting multiple layers of patchwork piecing, as well as for use on applique.  Wool is also an ideal fabric for these patchwork scissors.  

Having the micro-serrated teeth gives you more control, especially when turning and cutting simultaneously.  This 6" micro-serrated patchwork scissor gives your the best of both worlds, detailed cutting control and the ability to cut longer runs of fabrics (as opposed to the 4 inch version).
