Piecing To Quilting To Making An Artistic Quilt - Glendale
In this lecture style class Debbie and Mike Corbett, the award-winning husband and wife team, will discuss ways to make your quilt more aesthetically pleasing, along with how to prepare your quilt top for longarm quilting. They will be using their award winning quilt “Soul Of The Southwest” which won the prestigious Gammill Award of Machine Artistry at the Houston International Quilt Festival for 2022, to demonstrate the techniques used.
In addition Debbie will demonstrate one of her newest recently discovered tools, the LauraStar Iron along with the Reliable Ironing Board. These have many different uses for both the quilter and longarmer. For the iron demonstration, we’re encouraging everyone to bring with them to class a quilt block.
