Tropicale is inspired from the memories of warn ocean breezes and sandy beaches.  These colorful designs have been arranged into a wall quilt but the designs could be used in many other ways..  Aloha!!!

This pattern contains the following:

A collection of machine embroidery designs in the following formats: .DST, .EXP, .HUS, .JEF, .PES, .VIP and .VP3.  A hoop with an embroidery field of APPROX 145mm x 255mm (5.7" x 10") or similar is REQUIRED.  Also included are the optional full size versions of the 3 multiple-hooping designs, which require a hoop with a embroidery field APPROX 200mm x 300mm (8" x 12").  These designs can still be created in the smaller listed hoop by multi-hooping.  See design sizes below.

Mirror and non-mirror templates for cutting out shapes.

This pattern was not designed for the type of applique where you cut away the extra fabric. The templates are the actual applique size and after cutting out the pieces, you will place the pieces within stitched-out placement lines.

HOWEVER: You CAN use the cutaway method for your applique, but you will have to repeat the placement line after you place your fabric down and before you cut your fabric away.   I do not include a second placement line or a tack down stitch in my designs.
